Ok I understand where you guys are coming from on this, even though the soldier is a terd, what ever happend to taking care of the soldier, even though he is a terd he still deserves something, even if its an AAM. Now you may disagree but hey thats your opinion. As this one was mine, I just feel that we as NCO have gotten away from taken care of our hooahs, but when its time for us to leave you are gunna fight to get an award and even though you think you are an outstanding NCO and what other may think you are the terd and dont derserve anything. Just my thoughts, take care of thye hooahs, they are the one taken care of you

You did the right thing! Dipping is just as gum chewing...
Dipping is NOT authorized in formation! at: Position of “ATTENTION--"Remain silent and do not move unless otherwise directed." PARADE REST--"Keep the head and eyes as in the Position of Attention. Remain silent and do not move unless otherwise directed.” STAND AT EASE—“On the command AT EASE, the soldier may move; however, he must remain standing and silent with his right foot in place. The soldier may relax his arms with the thumbs interlaced. Rest may be executed from this position. Dipping would be authorized at the position of “REST”...unless--On the command REST, the soldier may move, talk, smoke, or drink unless otherwise directed. So, unless the Soldiers were given REST, then pulled out the dip can, unless otherwise directed, "dipping is not authorized in formation."

There isn't a reg talking about dipping but you should check Drill and Ceremony or AR 670-1

Just wondering if a soldier is allowed to dip and spit in formation while after being put at rest? I corrected a troop for this and was told they are allowed to, is this true?

Due to pregnancy? Before receiving the results?
Well, when a Soldier is pregnant they are enrolled in the pregnancy Physical Training program. She received a PT Test few days before she find out, so... That APFT still counts, because nobody knew she was pregnant; she was supposed to be in a good condition. Did that Soldier fail the APFT? Read AR 600-8-2 and you'll find some more info on pregnancy!
Give me some feedback.

Based on AR 600-8-2 A flag is not initiated if the soldier has a limiting physical profile that specifically prohibits taking the APFT....so what im wondering is what happens if a soldier fails a pt test due to pregnancy, But the pt test was given a few days before soldier recieved the results to her pregnancy test? is she still eligible for promotion? or is she SOL for the next 11 months?

I am currently deployed to Iraq and working in a CSC. I am curious as to if anyone is in the mental health field or knows of anywhere that I can find handouts or worksheets or any information on teaching a Home front issues class. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks you

Task: Identify procedures for moving casualties by litter and loading and unloading casualties using military vehicles.

Conditions: Given multiple-choice items pertaining to evacuation.

You can make up your own standard; Whatever you want the group to achieve!!

Download the Soldiers Common Task & Drills ( Warrior Task & Drills) you will find all of them in there!

I need tasks, conditions and standards for "Loading a Casualty onto a Litter" and "Loading Casualties into an M997". Are there task numbers for these?

If not, are there any sources for training guidelines?

From what I was told it isn't that it can only be used once but it should be the first command given of the day when receiving reports. So not only used once just first.

Thank you. I do have a lawyer already involved, I went to JAG and they stated it is a civilian matter. They gave me a list of civilian lawyers in the area of the case and helped me find one.

Everyone from my NCOIC up, to include the company commander, want all of my legal information and such to try to take military action. I have tried to explain that this is not a new issue that it followed me from a previous assignment and there was nothing that could be done through the military. They think that maybe because my ex is a soldier they could get a no contact order but that is not going to keep him from his child!

But thank you for your help. I keep bugging them and they keep putting it off. I am going to make an appointment at JAG to see if something can be done about their not counseling me. I know this is a requirement.

What is Fraud?
Fraud is characterized by acts of guile, deceit, trickery, concealment or breach of confidence, which are used to gain some unfair or dishonest advantage. The objective may be to obtain money, property or services; to avoid the payment or loss of money, property or services; or to secure business or personal advantage. Regardless of the intent, fraud, waste and/or abuse CANNOT be tolerated.

What information should you report?
• Who committed the fraud?
• What exactly did the suspect do?
• Where did the fraud take place?
• When did it happen?
• How was the fraud committed?
• Do you know why the person committed the fraud?
• Who else has knowledge of the potential violation?
What are some violations you should report? Some specific offenses may include:
• Violations of law, rule, or regulation
• Substantial and specific danger to public health or safety
• Contract and procurement irregularities:
o Cost/labor mischarging
o Defective pricing
o Defective parts
o Bid rigging
o Product substitution
o Spare parts overpricing
o Kickbacks
o Submitting false statements or claims
• Bribery and acceptance of gratuities
• Significant cases of mismanagement
• Conflicts of interest
• Travel (TDY/TAD) fraud
• Abuse of authority
• Theft and abuse of Government property

It is your primary responsibility to implement the FCP. Continue bugging your command! It is your Commander responsibility to conduct the FCP counseling or delegate it, and/or approve your FCP (cannot be delegated).

My command wants copies of my custody agreement, all correspondence between me and my ex, my evidence, etc. Is this necessary? No is not necessary! By saying your command you mean, CO/1SG? or TL, SL or PLT SGT?

All this sounds like legal or SJA appropriate! Commanders are not legal advisors. So... get with legal/SJA and get some guidance! They will be more than willing to help you out!!

What about a day care on post?

Good job on trying to stay on top of your FCP!
Continue to stay level headed and do not give up!

I have done my research pretty extensively, have been in 3 different unit and had a family care plan, but now I am just baffled.

I am being told by the NCOIC and company commander that because I work in the hospital they don't have to chapter me for not having a family care plan. I did not go in demanding or even asking that they chapter me; however, I do not nor do I foresee myself having one.

I have legal issues with my ex (whom I was never married to) and who is also married. They involve custody of our daughter and I have a lawyer who is currently working on the issue. I brought to their attention that to add to matters I am not going to leave my daughter with my current husband due to issues with my ex. He has joint legal custody of our daughter and has requested that I limit their interaction so he can implement himself in her life. This is a joke and I'm sure won't hold in court but I am not willing to risk anything that might end up with my daughter with him.

My command suggests that me and my husband can be kept on different schedules and that I can just leave her with him. Family care plan solved. Except we are both Active duty. Also, I have expressed several times in the last month that I want my counseling concerning my family care plan. I have been here nearly 90 days and have yet to receive a counseling even saying I need one. It has been 30 since I told them I don't have one.

Is there anything I can do?

My command wants copies of my custody agreement, all correspondence between me and my ex, my evidence, etc. Is this necessary? I have told them that this will not help my situation. Regardless of whether or not I have the problems with my ex I do not have a family care plan. My mom was and she is no longer willing. I also PCS'd here and I have no one for short term care either.

What can I do to fix this? I have been in more than 4 years. I'm not trying to use this as an excuse to get out. I'm just not willing to leave my daughter with a complete stranger, or as they hinted, bring her to work!

Received this e-mail 4 Sep:

Dear Valued Customers,

Please be informed and reminded that according to the agreement between USFK and LG Dacom effective June 21, 2007, VoIP services not registered under the South Korean Telecom Act is no longer available on bases and camps, and those unregistered VoIP services, including but not limited to, Vonage, Lingo and Magicjack etc., are currently being blocked, without prior notice, from accessing LG Dacom networks.

Not to disadvantage the servicemembers at the time of the agreement, however, the Grandfather Clause has been in effect, and those non-registered VoIP users who had been serving in Korea and signed up for the service on and before June 21, 2007 have been exempt from being blocked.
If you meet the above-mentioned Grandfather Clause requirement yet your US-based VoIP service is being blocked, please visit the nearest LG Dacom shop with the following documents ;

1. Unauthorized VoIP Service Account Information contracted on and before June 21, 2007.
2. Any documents to prove that you had been stationed in Korea before June 21, 2007.

Those customers who have already visited our shop and are currently being Grandfathered do not need to revisit.

The servicemembers who have arrived in Korea after the Grandfather Clause deadline are required to use an authorized South Korean VoIP provider. To accommodate these servicemembers, LG Dacom is currently offering VoIP services in comparable prices that have been approved and accepted by the AAFES and USFK.

It is regretful LG Dacom does not provide US phone numbers at this time, but in our ongoing efforts to improve the quality of life for USFK personnel while in Korea, we continue to seek ways to achieve this in the near future.

As an AAFES Concessionaire, LG Dacom will continue to do our best to accommodate customer needs, and if you have any inquiries, please contact our customer center at 080-850-1891.

Thank you.

LG Dacom
